Once upon a time (last year) there were two clusterheads who met on the net and decided to meet in person in Las Vegas. One was from California and one was from Maryland. They each made their way to Vegas and it took them hours to drive across the city. It seems that the very bright flashing lights triggered each of them alternately into headpain.. first one, then the other.. from what i heard it was a real test of stamina to get to the place where they were staying and it took many hours.
I do like the idea of ever cheap fares to Las Vegas but it seems a bit ironic that none of us can 'party' in public, doesn't it? I've heard that they do pump Oxygen into the gambling casinos..is that true?.. to keep the patrons going longer. I hope others can see the humor in this (grinning). My ideal meeting place would be somewhere empty and quiet..like the stadium 2 days after the superbowl for instance. We should look at avoiding extremes in weather as well.. no big air pressure swings or temperature swings would be nice.
I'm on the Atlantic Coast of Canada so not sure i'd be able to attend anyways.. i hear flying is also a trigger..
