My pain started in my right eye. After a while, It was my temple area and running down the side of my face. My ear would be affected and the right side of my head. All my pain was on the right and it was constant for 4 months. I had all the tests to make sure nothing serious was found. I ended up going to the Diamond Headache Clinic in Chicago and was hospitalized for 6 days. My doctor diagnosed mine as atypical cluster headaches. Good luck with your's.
