Was your mother kin to mine. Mine Mom thought Vicks could cure ANYTHING. She even swallowed a drolop for indigestion.
I have tried it on a rag - put the rag in the microwave and heat it for about a minute. Then open the door, grab the rag and inhale. It probably works ever once in a while. It's been a long time since I tried that one - had forgotten about it.
