That's just human nature. Can't change it. These things get to be such an obsession with us that we have a NEED to talk, but, as you said, most people when they ask, "How are you feeling?" don't really want to know. I've learned to just say, "Fine and if I was any better I couldn't stand myself!" That's about all they're gonna hear anyhow.
I have one or two people I can vent to who do care and that's about the only ones I talk to (except on the board) about my ailments.
Sorry that I can't help you with this one. This is just something we all have to live with.
