I did a quick search of the drugs listed in the medication section. I did not see it. Also did a "search" of the website and found no reference. I talked with Dr. Couch when he offered it to me. It is an epeleptic siezure preventative if I understood correctly what he was explaining to me. I think he must be exploring a possible link between epilepsy and our problem. I am sorry not have posted any information sooner. I have a good working relationship with Dr. Couch. I have tried things for him to test the results. I thought I was pretty much alone, and knew how to share. I did not try the medication, I was in one of my nothing works, what's the use? cycles. So I decided to give my body a break from the meds. Sometimes with a medicine I have taken that begins to lose effect, I find I can come back to it. I am chronic but the level of my pain is considerably less than many of yours is at this point. I know because I have been there. A few weeks ago I began to have an increase in severity, followed by an increase in the number. I was back to the real deal. Luckily they had an appointment already scheduled and I am currently in the middle of a prednisone "burst" and taking 240 verapimil. As I said the effectiveness of the prednisone can decrease over time and the headaches start coming back at 60mg and they will increase in intensity if they are predictable.

Give me a couple of weeks and a chance to talk with Dr. Couch, and I will go on a medicine trial for us. It might do us some good, I didn't give it a chance.
