Yes, you can do something in the UK. This IS an international organization. Your input is VERY important. E-mail me and I'll get you on the volunteer list.
Do you guys realize that only a couple of weeks ago we were just TALKING about doing this and NOW we're actually doing it.
Bobby G. is a real "go-getter" and we're all glad he found us. He's already made out a PLAN and it's great.
Now, here's what we need from all of you:
When you volunteer, let me know where your interest lie (ie., government, insurance, medical community, newsletter, publicity or what.) See my previous post for departments. We all have a lot to give, but we need to utilize our talents to the best advantage for all. (For instance - you certainly don't want me on a committee that has to do with computer technology cause I can barely turn my computer on! See what I mean?) So let me know your stong points. We'll get a lot more done that way.
Again, the response from everyone has been totally awesome. DJ, Drummer, Bobby G., Margie, lc bob, and a whole lot of others have been keeping the net hot with e-mail and ideas. (In between HAs of course).
Everyone has a stake in OUCH, so get your ideas to me. I'll get them to the appropriate people.
