Headache Emergency Link Program
(please bear with me, we are going to have to build this as we go. Please post any comments on how we could do better or if you have any ideas for improvement in a follow up.)
The Headache Emergency Link Program is designed to link you with resources and people who have had to suffer through the CH syndrome. WE CANNOT AND DO NOT OFFER YOU MEDICAL ADVICE!. This syndrome is too little understood for anybody to agree on anything. All we can do is our best to help guide you to the information you need. Our philosophy is to provide you with the information you need to make the best informed decisions that you can. Our primary policy is to give you the names of Physicians that have been successful in treating CH for some of our other members. We try to identify any doctors that may have the experience to treat you that is accessible in your area. If you have been diagnosed with cluster headaches or have unexplained headaches. YOU NEED MEDICAL TREATMENT BY A LICENSED PHYSCIAN WHO HAS EXPERIENCE OR HAS A PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH ANOTHER DOCTOR SPECIALIZING IN A FIELD THAT RECOGNIZES CH SYNDROME. If you need help arranging appoints, transportation, we can direct you to the resources available and help you apply for them. We make no promises, we are just a group of sufferers like you and will do what we can. We also will search for any and all information on CH syndrome and make it available to you and the general public. Since we provide access to all information, you will find information that says, " if you do this, you'll get well!" and the turn around and find another article saying "if you do that, it will make it worse!" Our job is to provide you with the information and allow you and your doctor to make the best informed decision that you can.
