Are you sure it said "use the stomach"? My wife must take the blood thinner Coumadin and had to have major surgery. Her doc put her on Heparin for a week before the surgery. Heparin is given by injection. We had a visiting nurse come to the house to show us how. Guess where? In the fatty tissue in the stomach area. Wife said it hurt like hell and was shaking when I, who had never givin an injection in my life, gave her the second one. Guess what? No pain. Maybe love had something to do with it. And by the way, my wife is very thin so there wasn't a lot to work with.
