Haven't we tried all those words with our doctors already? Maybe the word suicide IS what we need to use to get the attention we so desperately need for CH...I hate to disagree with you but your first post illustrated my point. People WILL commit suicide because of CH. We need to make the medical community sit up and pay attention to this!
I know that the word suicide around my house is taboo too - it's just to scarey to say the word. Luckily my husband is in remission now but when he is in a cycle it is always a worry that the Beast will push him over the edge. We just don't talk about it but that doesn't make the threat go away either. I do hear what you're saying but I think it's time we stopped sweeping this word under the carpet and make the doctors, the media, whoever will listen, face the reality of CH.
