Laura,
I started taking Verapamil and prednisone during this last cycle. Doc started me on 240mg slow release, and after 2 weeks we thought it wasn't doing anything so he said just to stop taking it. The next week I was hammered with attacks from the beast. I decided that it was at least slowing the bugger down so I came here to the message board and looked up Verapamil in the search and found that 240mg was a rather low dose compared to what some people were taking. I called the doc and "informed" him that I was going to up the dosage to 360mg. That happened to be my lucky number. After two weeks at that dose(along with the prednisone) I started to taper off both meds. Only one more week to go on the taper and I can say remission is here. Hope this helps you out. The doseage your on seems really low to do anything worthwhile to the beast. I know being tired is a drag, but it's better than getting awake at 2:00am and having to the march! Good luck Laura, and remission to all!
