Laura,
I don’t think the Verapamil is going to do you any good at 120mgs. I’ve had people on this
message board tell me that 240mgs was too little a dose, but when I tried to increase the dosage
to 480mgs (with my doctor’s permission), it made me sick. I would suggest trying 240mgs
(that’s the normal daily dosage for blood pressure patients) and see if it helps you any. Lastly, my
doctor told me the drug would be more effective if I took it at dinner time, since my headaches
generally come at night, and Verapamil is supposed to be taken with food. My normal time for
taking it is 7pm, after dinner has had the chance to start digesting. Good luck - hope you find
your road to relief! --Vince
