My doctor started me on 120mg of verapamil 2 weeks ago. He told me it would take 3 weeks to show any improvement. So far all I have shown is more headaches, more often. I fear I am taking so many different things for pain that I may not wake up in the morning. I am sorry you are hurting, but relieved that I am not the only one that feels like I could walk through a wall while the worst ones are happening. I had the DHE in the hospital for 3 days. All I got was a sore arm from the medicine. Hate to only give bad news but that is my experience with most of the drugs and treatments so far. I too am getting very depressed and wonder when this 3 month daily ritual of headaches will end. Sorry to ramble so.
