Yeah, I'd question whether it was CH or just some clueless doc farting around and not really knowing. Get to a neuro that knows CH, ask up front if he is treating CH for others. I've had textbook neuros that were totally clueless (do as I say and you're cured). You should have an MRI to rule out any other nasties.
