HI Phil! I've been on Indocin for 3 or 4 yrs, not sure when I started it.
I've had no problem with it as long as I take it with FOOD.
I'm on 75mg morning and 75mg eveing.
Most of this time I've been in remisson while taking it, but I do know if I forget one my face starts to bother me some.
So with my pain coming back it will be a big test for it. I usually don't get the pain this time of yr so I'm thinking it was the stress of the cancer surgery having to wait the 3 weeks before they did the surgery that might have started my pain up. (?)
I think you have to be at 150mgs to be at a therapeutic level. Doctor might start you out at a lower dose to see how it effects you first.
It's an antiinflammatory drug.
I don't remember if you have to be on it for awhile till it starts working.
Good luck!
