Hi Claudette,
I had a weather connection in the 60s when I was in college, 1:30 PM HA, 2:00 PM thunderstorm. Nothing since. I've been in every concievable weather situation since and have done the CH march in all of them. Tell your doc to move to Arizona, then you might find one that has a clue.
