Been away for a few days to attend a funeral in Missouri for my wife's uncle. He was a very interesting, fun-loving, practical joker that everybody loved.

Missed lots of comments on this site.

I do have a comment that might help some people.
When I feel a CH coming on, and I haven't gotten to the point where it's a 10 yet, and I am trying to abort the CH before it takes off (my head). I lay down on the bed, stomach-side down, up on by elbows, with my chest on a pillow and my elbows against the pillow for support (you can put a pillow under your stomach too, if you have a bad back). I wrap a fairly wet towel around a heating pad(wet only the part of the towel that is on top of the heating pad . . . don't want a wet bed) and put your eyes/temples into the wet part of the towel, with your hands in back of the heating pad, holding the heating pad against your head. If you have up to a 9 on the kip scale, it will take the pain down 2 steps, but not often stops the pain entirely. It does make it much more bearable. If you have a 10 . . . take the shot.

I know lots of you use ice instead on the temples, and heat only makes you worse (like my sister). But we're all different. Heat helps me quite a bit. Ice doesn't help at all. I did try to take a hot/cold shower this morning ( no CH), just to see if I could take it. The heat was great. But I was 4 minutes and 55 seconds short of the 5 minutes of cold shower . . . better you than me.

BE WELL!!!

Steve W.
