I have had CH's since 1976 - three or four attacks a year, going about three months, and then a month of uneasy reprieve, then starting all over again. I did all the uusual things - ergotamine or cafergot, oxygen, screaming, etc. Then went to a headache specialist here in Charlotte NC who gave me the Imotrex injections and capsules and put me on verapamil. I take one a day, and have not had a CH since last October. I cannot believe that something has finally worked for me. I'm still very paranoid - I carry an amitex injection with me all the time. Knowing what you all are going through, I hope I can somehow provide some support. God bless us and we know we are going to heaven - we have already served our time in hell.
