I have had the DHE as an IV on an outpatient basis. They seemed to work pretty good. I use the Migranal DHE nasal spray now. It works sometimes, but not always.
I have heard that some people have reactions to the DHE.
I would discuss your fears with your doctor and make the doctor explain all the risk and benefits.
