Your explanation is sooo ...well put .
Just by reading it , I felt that I already mastered the Cluster . It helps to know what's happening to us ,, more or less.
I don't want people to get upset . Sure we all have our own explanations of this , and we decipher it differently . And that's why we're here to exchange, information .
That's the wonderful thing about this place . I think we've put DJ on a pedestal sooo high he can't even look down to spit on us :)) ...J/k ..

I believe your step by step ( school teacher style ) explanation helped me a lot in understanding this .
Btw, I also had a head injury with bleeding in the skull from a major blow to the top of my head prior to the CH onset . But , this could very well be anecdotal .
And to also note that this year mine started on May 16th . And to answer Skilly's question about occupation , I'm a clockmaker and watchmaker since age 12 . Thus, stress factor is not to be omitted , but as you said , we shouldn't confuse cause and effect .
I look at my CH under a diferent light and the picture has definitely become clearer.
I, too hope the answer is around the corner . False hope is no good , but NO hope is worse .
To think where we were yesterday, without this site and info , and where we are today is already a great relief .
