I'm sorry to say that sex is the trigger that sets my headaches off. It's there all the time, like a thundercloud in my head, threatening to burst at any minute for days, and then eventually after several days, I think, well, I'll risk it, can't stay celibate for ever, fetch the flippers, snorkel, baby oil & plastic groundsheet out of storage, put the Vaseline on the bedroom doorhandle to keep the kids out, and off we go. Then just as we get to the moment of truth, the thunderclouds open and the mother and father of all bloody headaches hits me like a hammer. It certainly takes the shine off your day, I can tell you without a doubt.
