I am fairly new to the board. I wasn't familiar with your case. Sounds sooooo bad. Don't know how anyone can bang their head when they have a CH. We are all so different. I'm glad you have a sympathetic doc now. I saw mine today as a follow-up from a few weeks ago when mine were real bad. I told him about the water thing . . . so far, six days on water with only shadows, no bangers. He had heard of about everything I mentioned from the board, except water. He said whatever works. He said the newest thing out that seems to be working very well as a preventative is DEPAKOTE. He said it is an anti-seizure medicine. He also said that doctors now are looking at CH as if they might be like seizures . . . the brain firing electrical signals all over the brain at once. Has your doctor mentioned DEPAKOTE. My doc said it is replacing Verapamil as the preventative of choice. Glad you're feeling better about life. If you whip this CH, you'll be on cloud nine.
