I don't know what this phenomenon is where we are "taught" to "fear" our doctors. Phil had it right when he said that WE HIRE THEM AND WE CAN FIRE THEM!!! The problem is that we are so afraid of being "labeled" by our doctors. I finally have had enough. I see my doc this afternoon and I will lay it out on the table for him. And you're right....if he can not live up to my expectations and respect what I know about myself and my "condition" then I will fire him and continue to do what I can until I find someone who at least tries to understand. We all have to live up to our obligations for eachother - if we continue to keep quiet, we only make it harder for the next CH sufferer who walks into that office. I am going to print out some of the information I have found on this site and take it to my doctor so that he can perhaps have another view of what's going on inside my head. I know this is so difficult - to make a CH free person understand that we are not crazy and we are not junkies. We are just people looking for some answers and some respect. Good luck to you.
