First things first. Strike the word "idiot" from your vocabulary. Replace it with the word "Drummer". Would you do that for me please? You, Drummer, are you. There is no need to feel like shit because you are you. We love you. Your wife loves you. We understand your pain. Hell, I locked my dog in the car, IN the carwash. Had to walk the mile back home to get the spare set. Got home, realized my spare set was IN my purse, IN the car, WITH the dog, IN the carwash. So does that make me a Drummer?

Of course you're frustrated. Of course you feel like shit. You have a very tough row to hoe, my friend. But you CAN do it. You've already proved that to us and to yourself. You're just not doing it RIGHT NOW. But you can do it AGAIN! You are just on a break from doing it. Hate to tell you this but break time's over, pal. Time to reach inside the Drummer jar and pull out the determination gel. Rub it all over yourself. You know these meds aren't going to cure CH, you know your doc isn't going to cure CH. Only YOU can decide to just deal with it. I know that sucks but for now, that is the only choice you have. No, it's not fair. No, it's not right. But it's the hand we've been dealt with, isn't it? Life has given us lemons, it's time to make some lemonade.
How about giving yourself a project. How about we do some email brainstorming and get this newsletter going? Load me up with your ideas, I can put them onto paper. I am at your beck and call but I need your guidance. I've just put myself on your newspaper committee whether you want me there or not. Expect a lot of emails from me. I'm about to become your worst nightmare...doesn't matter if you tell me to F*** off....people have tried that before and I keep coming back. Kinda like an infection...kinda like CH.
Oh and one more thing? Be nice to Mr. Winky, ok? He's probably still pretty mad at you.
