Why do you need to check into a mental ward because you're depressed. I don't have a clue what paxil is, but DHE shouldn't cause that much depression. Zolof or some other antidepressant should help with the depression.
Sounds like your doc is out of ideas and wants to pass the buck. We wouldn't have as much depression if we didn't hurt so damn bad. Talking to a shrink is not a bad idea (get an idea how to deal with CH), but a mental ward is NOT the answer.
