we're already kind of one step ahead....a lot of us have downloaded ICQ from the 'net (www.icq.com) which is a chat software where we can talk to each other all over the world for FREE.
We are trying to set up an on-line support program and DJ is working to put a button on the board where supporters who have time can "sign-in" and their ICQ number will be listed. With our extended family reaching all over the world, we should be able to have supporters on line theoretically 24 hours a day.
If you don't have ICQ it may be worth a shot to download it. My ICQ number is 37451395 if you need anything.
If you ask Kip, he will tell you that ICQ is a bit "user hostile" at first, not any documentation on how to work the darn thing, but between the rest of us, we can help each other to learn it. It really is a pretty good chat engine.
Don't forget, also, DJ has set up a chat room, right here on the board that quite a few people are using as well. Just press the chat button at the left bar of this page.
As always, we are still looking for volunteers to do support shifts. Our "regulars" are busy these days and we don't want to burn anyone out before the program is formally established.
