I believe the reason excedrin/migraine works for you is that the only thing different in that combo is that it has "caffeine " in it. Caffeine is a vasoconstrictor. Enough said. Heat does not work for me, cold does because that is also a vasoconstrictor. I am very happy this works for you , and wish you continued success. Calientev8
