the opinions posted here do not follow that philosmosphere. these opinions smell pretty good to me. as i've previously posted - CHupporters hold us up ... but what holds you ppl up defies my imagination. you are the definition of class.
that said - i need to add my personal stink.
Elaine and Jeff have pioneered a road that all us CHeads would be wise to consider. a road that is paved with potholes CHupporters know well. we should study the road maps made by these sturdy folks.
in August 2000, we will find ourselves confronted with the prospect of assuming the role of CHupporters if/when the CHonvention occurs. i've spoken briefly with drummer on this ... and (i think) we acknowledged a certain apprehension about meeting another CHead. what if i go off in front of my compadre-in-pain? what if they go off in front of me? could i BE a CHupporter? will i be less able than they wrestling their brain blisters? how will our dances compare? will they be stronger than i? so many questions ...
it occurs to me that we CHeads are well advised to study and assimilate the attributes of these iron men and women before we are faced with becomming one. personally, contemplation of that eventuality reinforces my already monumental respect for them, and furthers my awe at their strength. Buddy, Margi, Ted, et al ... teach me.
you may now breathe again ... end of stink.
