The DHE IM has been a God-send. My brother is an RN and he showed me how to give myself an injection. We tried a practice run with some saline solution and I just couldn't stick myself, but, oddly enough, when the headache arrived I had no problem - the needle didn't seem very intimidating with a CH approaching. I also tried Imitrex but that did nothing for me.
Others have posted about taking something for nausea with DHE, but I guess I'm lucky because I don't seem to have any side effects from it.
Also, as I recall it is certainly not cheap but not too expensive.
