Horrific headaches on my honeymoon lead me to an MRI upon my return and the discovery of a small brain tumor. Underwent major brain surgery in NYC, tumor out, benign. Doctors said back to work in 3 week, WRONG. Suffered for the next 5 months, depressed, suicidal thoughts, begged my new groom for divorce as He deserved a life with a wife who was'nt on the couch crying, not sleeping, etc,, ended up at a headache ctr in Ct where Cluster was suggested. BINGO. It all made sense. In hindsight I belive the clusters came first, tumor was only found because of CH. The headache ctr started me on Indomethacin. Miricle drug for me, back working in 2 weeks. I have suffered bouts of headaches over the past several yrs. Giving birth to my first son in 96' was easy because it was'nt as painful as these headaches. I'd rather give birth each day instead of having CH. I have tried alot of drugs. Tegretol. elavil. depakote, firocet. Indocin is 2nd to Morphine. I would like to hear some upbeat info from others on "coping", ie: imagery techniques, meditation, tricks that get you through. I fight this devil in my head with all kinds of mind tricks and would love to hear from others. Inmates should just sit on death row...they should have CH
