ICQ stands for I seek you and it's a messaging\chat system that allows you to chat with other people real time over the internet. Whatever you type in can be instantly seen by whoever you are typing to. You can have a conversation with someone by typing back and forth. It's pretty slick. You can download a free version at www.icq.com. They were recently bought by AOL.
