Okay, here's an alternative opinion. I use the Imitrex tabs and DO find them effective. Have never tried the injections, so I won't knock them, but thought it time to stick up for tabs. Their much cheaper & you can take 4 doses per day. I also got one sample of the nasal spray from my doc this bout and it worked also.
Here's the trick--you MUST take the tab at the VERY FIRST indication of an attack. For me, that's a 'tightness' in my right temple. Once the pain actually starts, they do nothing. Likewise for 'redosing after 2 hours' Waste of time and drug.
