Pete, I hope this helps for you as it helped me. My doctor assured me an increase in dosage will have no adverse side effects. I'm a small, skinny person, if you are tall maybe increase the dosage. My doctor first prescribed 10mg and I noticed a reduced intensity, then I increased the dosage untill it stopped my headaches completely. Naturally I asked about the side-effects and 40mg, twice daily seem sufficient for me.
