Fact. Most, 80% of cluster headache patients are heavy users of the subject, So am I. Therefor most doctors ask patients to abstain from both to avoid the devils.
I have seen that curtailing the use of alcohol during a cluster bout is wise, however any other time seems to be ok. Smoking in my case seems to have no effect one way or the other. What effects do these things have on your cluster headaches?
