I couldn't agree with you more!! I have found this board to be a sanctuary for the past few months when I have become semi-chronic. I also posted a while back that I started taking better care of myself, being a mom of 4 & having an elderly mother & husband to tend to. For the past 25 years everyone came first but "ME". So hence, I joined a gym, found a massage therapist and found that while the headaches didn't disappear I was better able to deal with them & plain black coffee aborted them.
While we all have opionions etc. etc., the main reason I haven't been posting much is the very reason that you stated in your post. Fear of reprisal, because "Chilling out and taking better care of me" has been working.
I was sick & tired of all the otc drugs and prescription drugs that sometimes worked and most times didn't.
I was also sick of my doctor & the ER people looking at me like I was nuts, so, I took matters into my own hands.
I do think that "Clusterers" tend to be overly critical perfectionists, because, that described what I was.
Sometimes the hardest puzzle can be solved with the easiest solution. This does not imply that I've been cured cause I haven't, but my life is much better now that I've let a lot of the crap slide off my back and started putting me first, at least some of the time.
