Irregular sleep. I had been going to sleep around 9-9:30 for a long time. Then last weekend I only got 10 hours for the 3 nights, and voila, I am having another episode. First one in more than a year. The last episode I had was 10 days after a lock-in at the church with all the kiddies on New Years Eve. So variations in sleep is DEFINATELY a trigger. Also, flashing light when I am sleeping, i.e. lightning flashing in the window and lighting up the room seems to have it's role too, though I'm not sure just how much.
