I love the idea of Vegas for a few reasons, 1. PARTY! 2. PARTY! 3. CHEAP (airfare and hotel) 4. SHOWS! 5. FREE BOOZE (for those in remission) 6. WIN MONEY! 7. (for you guys....) CABARET SHOWS. 8. FOOD! I think that no matter where we choose to hold the event there will be factors of triggers. It should be somewhere fun so that it feels like a vacation sort of event, remember we are creating some wonderful bonds with new friends. Not to mention family or friends that come with will want it to be fun. The problem I see for holding it other places is cost. For me personally Aug. of 2000 is bad since I'll be planning my formal religious wedding in MN (Sept. 16, 2000). So money will be very tight for us. I would love to attend but could definately not make that date. If I am unable to attend I need a volunteer to take pictures and post em so I don't feel left out!! This is all the input I can garner at this time....
