Sorry, but I have to agree with David. There is NO way Mike could sleep for two days when he is in a cluster cycle. He is lucky to get 2 HOURS of consecutive sleep. Clusters are VERY different from migraines and sleep is elusive for many.
I was a migrainer in my youth and your symptoms sound more like mine.
Think it's time to involve your doc.
