My thoughts on kids and the conventin being on a weekend is the convention dates we were looking at were a Friday, Sat. and Sun. This means anyone driving will need possibly a day or two off (wed. and thurs.) to get there and a day or two to get home (mon. tues). That could effect kids school attendance. That was my thoughts on it.
