Do the rest of you feel that when or if you have a time without the CH, you feel somehow that it's not fair on those who are still suffering? Also that many people, no matter how bad yours is at the time, have it worse or longer than you? This must be one of the more subtle ways it gets you.

Now- a bit of an idea. I am now at the time when I would expect my seasonal cluster to have happened, but it hasn't started. I may be growing out of the whole thing, ( I live in hope) but also, I'm just wondering if my sleeping pattern has confused it. Since I stopped my teaching at 50, I started a part time job at the local hospital doing four nights a fortnight on the switchboard. This involves changing from daytime living for ten days, to four nights awake and sleeping in the day. As most of my heads begin during sleep at about 3.30 am, I wonder if the changing sleeping pattern is holding it off. Anyway if it doesn't start soon, I'll be free till next spring, and as I say, I feel guilty not to have my share while the rest of you are going through it.
