My Doctor has me to spread out the dosage. I start with an 80 mg. shot in his office then take 6 a day for 5 days, 5 and day for 5 days, 4 and day for 5 days.....1 a day for 5 days then (VERY IMPORTANT) one everyother day for 5 days. If I don't slwoly taper the last pill every other day, I have a crushing headache (not as bad as a cluster but....) for a few days due to withdrawal from Pred. While taking multiple pills during the day, I spread them out evenly so I have a constant level in my system. This works best FOR ME!
