Sorry to hear that, Debbie. I hoped he would find the switch-side easier, like I do. Double-siders are very uncommon according to all the medical litterature I've read, but some people develop a combination of CH and migraine. And migraine is usually double-sided. Imitrex (Sumatriptan) often works for both, and some find that nasal spray give relief quicker. Talk to your doc about it - there are a lot of different medications, and none of them works for everybody. I'm lucky, managing well with O2 and Sumatriptan. Read this board, try what others have found give relief. And if nothing works - go to the ER and try to get them to knock him out for at least 12 hours. The worst cycle I ever had was broken that way - morphine and sleeping pills, 16 straight hours sleep. I've only had it done once - they don't like to do it - so I'm not sure it will work every time.
All my wishes for you and your husband.
Erik
