Cathy, I'd be very careful going back on the Prednisone if you had a reaction like joint pain. I had alot of side effects from Prednison that now I can't take it anymore.
Not as bad as Amanda but physical stuff I will have the rest of my life.
But I do understand how we will do anything to get out of the pain, but my body just can't take Prednisone, no more. I do get steroid injections in my face, but it's not as bad as having the Prednisone going all thru my blood. Some of it will, but not as much as when I took the pill. I guess someday I won't beable to have the injections either, but for now, I'm hoping they will stop this cycle like the last year long cycle.
Alot of the people here has had really good luck with it, I'm just not one. Be sure that you let your doctor know that you had joint pain the last time.
