Most of the medication we take for clusters probably won't be good for a breat-feeding mother, but your doctor would have the last word on that. I see too ladies have recommended ice packs. So, you might try "Migraine Ice". It is a box of about 3 or 4 patches for $8.00. You can get them at Walmart or a drug store, if the one in your area has them yet. They're fairly new. A poster on this board swears that they help. Just put one on where it hurts, and you may get quick relief. Do a search on Migraine Ice on the board here for details by the poster. Otherwise, if you can take Excedrin, it will probably contract your expanded blood vessels to take the pain away. However, if you do that day after day, you may get rebound headaches that are even worse. I have. Others take Excedrin or drink caffeinated drinks and don't get rebounds. Good luck.
