Derek, welcome! i am also new, about a week and it was here that i found what might work for me. yes, the people here are very caring. i enjoy the messages (enjoy might sound like a wrong word), but they do make me feel good. I was in same situation, had not been to a doctor in 5 years because they never had anything that would work. after reading here, went to doctor again and found a relief for awhile. also from san diego, in korea right now. send me an email if you get a chance.
