I have used Vicks in the past with good results. It reduces the pain, no doubt. When the Oxygen and the hot shower don't work, and the face in the freezer doesn't work, and I'm all out of Imitrex, I go for the Vicks bottle. Fortunately, these other remedies all seem to actually stop the CH rather than just reduce its intensity for me.
Like you see in so many posts here, if it works for you -- DO IT!!
