I agree with Amanda totally, except for the euphoria (maybe you just like shopping???). The CH stopped immediately and were gone for two years. I was only taking 20mg a day then. I took one pill a day for 10 days and stopped. Wish I would have been given pills to taper off. I had a bad headache (not cluster) for two days and was sick at my stomach when I quit cold turkey. But then I felt great. I had eye trouble starting last December and went on 40 mg of Prednisone for about 4 months. As soon as I got off the Prednisone, my CH came back . . . and going back on Prednisone didn't help at all. I slept about 4-5 hours a day and was always up doing something. And I was easily irritated . . . which is not like me at all. Hope your CH are chased away by the Prednisone.
