Way back, years ago, when I was at college, I was suffering from a CH and friends told me to go to the health center (aka infirmary). I showed up but had to stand in a line of other students waiting to see the nurse or doctor. The CH was very intense at that time. I started to feel nausea which was unusual for me. Then I noticed shock symptoms started to set in. I felt dizzy, broke out in an instant cold sweat. I slid down the wall until I was in almost a fetal position (feet still on the ground but with my tall thin frame all folded up). The CH disappeared within about 3 seconds. Ironically, when I finally made it in to see the doctor, there were no symptoms, only my drenched clothing to attest to what I had been through. All further attempts by him to diagnose it (he was not familiar with CH and neither was I at the time) did nothing. This "quick relief" had never happened before and has not happened since then.
