I have tried neither of these. Many of the site members may think this is absured, but there is some validity to to aborting CHs by inhalation of cold air. One night when I ran out of oxygen, I remember reading some info that air cooled to 42 degrees F can be effective for some CHers. Being desperate, I stuck my head in my freezer and huffed cold air as if I were hyper ventilating and it worked. I wondered if the freezer method was a placebo effect. Well I got another one later that evening,huffed more cold air and aborted that CH, also. Placebo effect or not it still works to this day (knock on wood).
You are a good, strong person for being an aid to the CH family. I am sorry that Rich is having such difficult time but I admire you for being an active supporter of this site and your husband's road to a treatment that works.
