I take prednisone when I begin an episodic bout of CH. My doctor gives me a huge jolt, 60 mg a day one week, then down 10 mg each week until I'm down to nothing. This really kicks out the bout of CH. However, I have chronic CH on the other side and prednisone does nothing for that.
