I've been using Prednisone for my episodes every 2 years
for many years. One thing about the taper: there's
no "right" way to do it. For my last episode,
I used my typical 2 tapers, back to back, no time
in between. This was 100 mg (5 20 mg pills) for
2 days, then 80 mg for 2 days, etc, down to 1 pill
for 2 days, then 0, 1, 0, 1. What happened, though,
is that the clusters left after 1 month, as they
usually do, then came back. I went on a third
taper, this time 60 mg for 5 days, then 50, 40, etc.
